Key Responsibilities
As a Security Operations Center (SOC) Analyst, you will be instrumental in reinforcing the security objectives within our client’s Regional Security Operations Center (RSOC) and Global Security Operations Center (GSOC). Your key duties will include:
- Providing exceptional customer service by adhering to safety and security protocols and responding to emergencies with professionalism.
- Conducting scheduled and unannounced patrols around client sites, ensuring a secure environment.
- Managing operations in accordance with RSOC and GSOC standard procedures.
- Monitoring client locations using operational network video systems and various SOC technologies.
- Preparing detailed reports for the SOC Shift Manager, highlighting incidents and actions taken.
- Coordinating responses to alarm activations and critical situations.
- Establishing strong cross-organizational relationships to facilitate risk information sharing.
Required Skills
To excel in this role, candidates should possess:
- A minimum of two (2) years of experience in security operations or in a similar 24x7 operations environment.
- Strong analytical skills for security analysis and problem-solving.
- Proficiency in IT applications and effective data management.
- Basic understanding of security system technologies and relevant data protection policies.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage with individuals at all levels within the organization.
Qualifications
Candidates must meet the following qualifications:
- A high school diploma or equivalent, or five years of verifiable experience in a relevant field.
- At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles and 21 years for armed roles.
- Successful completion of a background investigation and drug screening as per federal, state, and local regulations.
